    I am looking for someone to build a user customizable widget to allow my listings customers to list their products with categories, 6 weight categories along with prices and possibly sorting features.

    Jeff,

    I can’t speak for how others would use this plugin, but I would be using it to create a simple menu for restaurants I have listed.

    In a perfect world, I would be looking to be able to have a “Food Category” field that could have items nested under it. For each item, there would be a field for

    1. Item Name
    2. Price
    3. Description
    4. Item Add-on (if Applicable)
    5. Item Add-on Description (if Applicable)
    6. Item Add-on Price (If Applicable)

    There could be multiple Item Add-ons, so ideally that would be a field where more add-ons could be added to an item added as needed.

    I’d be happy to give feedback as it progresses.

    Thanks guys. I’m struggling to find time for this project, but it is progressing.

    Dylan, I don’t think your requests will be in the first version. It may add considerable complexity, so I’ll have to think a bit more about it. Sorry.

    I like the listing owner be able to list products and prices with a picture of the product. Maybe a drop down for that product.

    It’s still on my list. It’s been pushed back by my 9-5 and other paying client projects.

    Perhaps instead of writing an ecommerce plugin from the ground up, we could just create an extension for Woo or an add-on for Marketpress:
