Need Information about GD_Search short codes.

    Hi Team,

    I need some clarifications for below short codes.

    What i thought is this filter might combine all CPT’s categories into 1 search box. but it seems like it doesn’t do that and hide/display any specific custom post type to select in the drop-down list. Please correct me if i am wrong.

    2nd question, I tried it and it looks the same. what is the basic difference in these 3 short codes.

    [gd_search post_type_hide=”1″ customize_filters=”default”]
    [gd_search post_type_hide=”1″ customize_filters=”searched”]
    [gd_search post_type_hide=”1″ customize_filters=”always”]

    You can only search one CPT at the same time.

    Default: Custom search options will become available when your visitors click on the Customize Search button
    Open when searched: This setting will show the custom search open when your visitors access your GD Search page, but not on other pages
    Always open: the advanced search options will be available without your visitors having to click on the Customize Search button
