We need search results sorted by price package, highest priced package(s) above ALL other returns, then second priced package(s) second, then third priced package(s) third, then fourth priced package(s), which is all other (free) listings.

Sorting searches first by price package is paramount to our endeavor.

    Hi,

we don’t reply to email addresses, the forum is the only tool we use for support, if you need to receive notification to that email address, please update your profile accordingly.

If you follow this tutorial you’ll achieve what you describe, but only for blank searches: https://wpgeodirectory.com/how-to-sort-listings-by-price/

If the user input a keyword in the “search for” field or a location in the “near” field, results will be ordered by relevancy with user’s input.

There is no way to change that without a major customization of the search algorithm and that would be beyond support.

    Thanks

    ?!

Thanks. I didn’t post a support request. I posted in Jobs because I’m looking for a developer who is willing to program the major customization of the search algorithm.

I’m so sorry (and embarrassed) Timothy,

yesterday was a very busy day and I didn’t notice I was replying to a job request.

    I sincerely apologize.

Just FYI, I’d post the same in sites like https://geodirectoryexperts.com/

You’ll get more replies than here for sure, especially for something that complex…

    Sorry again. 🙂
