    Hi Christian,

Let me try to answer your questions accordingly.

#1 Refer to this article that explains more about the permalinks. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-permalinks/

#2 That’s the author profile image. You can change it to your logo here in gravatar http://www.gravatar.com

    Thanks!

    Hi Kor,

Thanks for the information. As I move along, I have come across another issue as well. On the map on the homepage, the category icon appears extremely large (please see attached screenshot). Can you also please assist me in ensuring the icons appear smaller on the map? Would like to see them to be about the same size as the marker icons Google uses on their maps (such as the pin).

    Hi Christian,

Thanks for your reply. I’ve just checked your screenshot and I’m able to see the issue there. That’s definitely too huge for a map marker and you can change it in the categories. Here are some links to where you can get some free map markers for your directory https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/where-can-i-find-map-markers/

    Thanks!

    Hey Kor,

I have tried some of the icons in the link you gave me and some of them are 100×100. While this is certainly smaller, it still appears large on the map. Is there a way (with CSS) to force all of the icons to one size?

I have attached a screenshot plus the actual icon I am using.

    Hello,

we recommend markers that are smaller than 50×50, but you can use whatever size works for you.

The markers appear on the map at exactly the original size, and CSS cannot be used to resize them without customization.

These markers are used widely and are generally a good size to use, plus the site has a feature to allow you to change the colors.

    https://mapicons.mapsmarker.com/markers/nature/natural-marvels/volcano/?custom_color=ed1fc4

    Example:

    BALI VOLCANO!!!
