new custom post type – change fields

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    when I create a new custom post type, I can see preconfigured fields like

    category
    adress
    time
    etc…

    I do not need all of them, is it possible to delete them? or only to set them “not active”.
    when I add a field for myself, I see a red X, and this field I can remove..
