New listing default status set to Pending Review but listing is auto-published

    Hi.

    Please view video in link in next reply.

    Scenario:
    A test user creates 2 listings, both are auto-published even though new listing default status is set to Pending Review in GD settings. New test listings are visible even when not logged in to site.
    When test user tries to access “My Listings” nothing shows up under their profile.
    No listings are seen as “Pending Listings” under admin dashboard.

    Any advice? How do I make sure these listings really are reviewed before being published?

    There is the possibility that you have adjusted the listing default status inside the packages. Each package has settings to override the default settings

    CPT (Places) Settings – Packages – Show advanced – Status (near the bottom)

    If we need to check the settings please include WP Admin in a private reply

    You were right about the settings within the package. Thanks for that.
    I’ve fixed that bit now, but the other problem still remains.
    No listings are listed under the user’s profile when the Profile page is accessed.
    Any settings that I need to change?
