    I decided to write a review and hope it helps, I thought I would be clever and remove all my site details, then next to my name it gives my address….. arhhhhh! lol

    Hi Dave,

    Thank you very much for sharing this, it is very informative and it has helped me to grasp the depths of what I need to achieve.

    Just out of curiosity, and to give a basic idea of the setup, did you create a sub-directory especially for the directory?

    Hi Nicola,

    Sorry I have been away, what do you mean about create a sub-directory?

    If you mean the directory drop down menu in the main menu I have always created these using the wordpress menu settings on my websites – I also try to keep within two or three lvls for seo.

    So to answer your question (hopefully) all my directory headings are parent categories I then use the WP menu to place them.

    I started to confuse myself here, hope it makes sense.

    Is this a custom menu you’ve created, or the default menu?

    Is there any chance that menu items can link to categories with no listings, or does the menu only include categories with listings?

    Hi,

    I have used the normal wordpress menu to create my menu system.

    This way the menu will show the categories you want – with or without places.

    RE: Spam users

    I recently started using clean talk plugin and it’s stopped them in their tracks. I tried wanguard before and it wasn’t working. Clean talk is only a few dollars a year.
