    Hello GD and everyone!
We’re testing this plugin and so far it’s really great.
Our objective is to list various cities from our province (Quebec, Canada) and show them on a map.

When we try to add a new place, the interface restricts us to the default place we set up (Montreal). See attached file.

Can we only show places in one city at a time?

Maybe it’s normal behavior, a little heads up about this specific element would be appreciated. If you have documentation around the default place, you may give me a link along with the answer.

    Thank you!

    Kind regards,
    Vince

You will need to install the Location Manager: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/

    Thanks

    Thank you Guust,
We watched the tutorial and it looks pretty flexible. There is just one question it didn’t answer.

We have one question about the add-on; can we list all cities on the same map? Or each map shows only one city at a time?

In other words, can we show all cities of the same province on the same map?

    Thank you!

Every country has its own map, and every region and every city, and the whole world too.
    See a demo here: https://wpgeo.directory/docs/all-cities/

    Thanks

That’s really nice, but can a region map list cities instead of places?
Maybe we can create the cities as places and give them some default lat/lon?

I hope I’m clear, thank you for your patience! 🙂

Yes you could crate cities as listings no problem. Just type only the city name in the address field and it’ll grab the city center lat and lon coordinates.

    Thanks!
