New User Default Role

    Hi,

    Just a quick question…

    In order for users of my directory to add/edit listings or leave a review, what should my ‘New User Default Role’ be set to? Contributor, Author or Editor?

    Hi Rob, this should not matter if you are just letting users use the front end forms, i have my site set to Subscriber and everything works as normal.

    Hi Stiofan,

    when I try to add a listing as a ‘normal’ subscriber, I get a 404 error page on the following URL http://supscout.de/?page_id=4&listing_type=gd_place. Only if I am an editor, the correct page is showing. Do you have any ideas why that is the case?

    Full stop: I found the solution: My add-listing page was still in draft mode. This obviously lead to the problems. Sorry for bothering you. Keep up the good work!
