New user registration reminder

    hi Sir,

    For a user who is not login and is browsing content on the site, I would like to put a pop-up reminder for registration or login. I think it is relatively straightforward to put a pop-up that would direct the user to a email list vendor such as mailchimp. However, since GD already has membership/subscriber functionality, I would like to understand how we could put a pop-up reminder for registration (for a subscriber account on my site so that he or she can add reviews etc) if the user has been browsing content without logging in. Any suggestions or pointers are greatly appreciated. thanks,

    Hi peter,

    This is not possible without customization. But have you check out 3rd party plugins and see if there’s anything that suits you? Example this https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-force-login/

    hi Kor,

    I understand this requires customization. I am not sure if we want to go as far as forcing people to login. We would prefer a gentle account creation reminder. For example, after the user has browse 10 pages on the site (without login), a popup reminder of account creation is shown. We are not trying to sell membership but we want to increase account creation. Are you aware of such a plugin? thanks,
