No invoice text

    Hi there,

    When a customer has no invoices, the text says:

    “No invoice has been made yet.”

    This is a slightly awkward phrase. How can I correct this to something like:

    “No invoices have been created.” or even “No invoices.”?

    I cannot find string settings in the invoices section.

    Ah – sorry about that.
    I can’t find English in the translation list – should I post a new thread or can this one be moved?

    Because English is the default language. All you have to do is edit the string that you don’t like exactly as you were translating them. Save the translation file where instructed and it’ll change the text on the website.

    1) The string I want to update isn’t on any of the language pages.
    2) Which file do I edit?

    Is the invoicing-en_US.po file supposed to already exist in my plugins directory? Or should I download it from GitHub? I don’t have a translation file in the plugins directory for Invoicing.

    I tried editing and uploading the one from GitHub but nothing has changed.

    the file is in wp-content/plugins/invoicing/languages/invoicing-en_US.po

    You need to download it, edit it with poedit and save it. It will create a new invoicing-en_US.mo file that you need to upload into this directory:

    /wp-content/languages/plugins/

    It’s working. I needed en_GB not en_US.
