    Hi there,

    I have on my website home page the “GD Search”.

    Below it, it reads

    “No listings found that match your selection.”

    This shows before a search has been requested so it always shows when you go to my home page. How do I remove that? I believe it should only show after a search has been requested. When a search is performed the results show on the GD Archive page anyway which is a totally different page. I am happy that this part happens.

    Any help would be awesome.

    If you set your GD Search page to a different page, then it won’t show that message.

    Hi there. Thank you for this email. I changed the GD Search page to my custom home page. The message was still there. I changed the GD Search page then to “search page” and the message is still present. Cleared cache and still there. Any further advice would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    I should have mentioned that the message is the expected bahavior, I recommended switching search to a different WP page to keep the message off the home page.

    You can hide it with CSS or change it via translation

    /*GDV2 Search - Hide empty results message */
    .geodir-loop-container p.geodir-info {
        display: none;
    }

    Seeing as no results will ever be shown on the page, you can remove GD Loop, that is what is producing the message.
