    After having a problem messing up the css I renamed old child theme to GDF_child_old & uploaded new files, everything else now seems fine but I can’t get the map to show up on the new version, so would appreciate some help.
    WordPress 4.1 running latest GeoDirectory Framework & Child theme, my site is: discovermarketdrayton.co.uk.

    Hi,

    renaming the theme will make WordPress see that as a new active theme and when a new theme is activated, widgets are reset. The map is a wiget so I think you only need to put it back where it belongs.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi,
    That is what I expected & all the other widgets seem fine but not the map, it is shoving as a widget to add & usual options but will not show up anywhere.

    Your maps are gone everywhere: add-listing, backend, multilocation etc.
    I’ll get somebody smarter than me to have a look.

    you have a CSS rule appearing on the page in a few places that is hiding the map

    .geodir_map_container{display:none;}

    Nick, I deleted that in the GDF quick code section, and the GD>design>script section, and your maps are back.

    Ok thanks, I had added that Override CSS In the GDF quick code, to hide the map for mobile view a while ago & was fine until this problem, I have removed it now & the maps are back.
