Hi! I imported data per CSV, which seems to have worked fine. The listings are online.
However, in the “locations” view, I get an “no records found” error. When I open any category, it works fine. Screenshots below.
The URL is:

Thanks for your post. There could be an issue with your permalinks and could you try the method on this article and see if it helps?

February 12, 2020 at 8:24 am #529936Hi Kor,
thanks you for the prompt reply!
Yes, I had checked the permalinks already. I have tried to change and reset them properly as well, with no effect.
Another idea:
The import table of the data had two additional columns at the very end which I would like to retain, because it allows me to link the records to our main database. Might that be a problem?
Do the columns in the import table have to be in the exact same order as in the export tables? This might be a problem, because in the export tables the columns were in slightly different order for the different CPTs.

Thanks for your reply. Kindly share your Website WP admin access here in private reply and we’ll troubleshoot this further for you.
February 12, 2020 at 7:53 pm #530034Hello,
when using the GD importer, yes, the column order must match.
I recommend you check out this doc and try again.

February 14, 2020 at 9:31 am #530279Ok, I figured out the problem.
Steps I performed:
(1) Export all the data and check the status of the tables
=> All looks fine. No messed up data. Apparently, the system will drop all the tables from the import data it doesn’t recognize, and is able to identify the correct columns for the values, even if they are not in the right order. At least for me it was the case.
(2) Nevertheless, I trashed all the data except the test-CPTs.
=> No change
(3) Trash test-CPTs and re-add test-CPTs manually.
=> No change
(4) Then I added one listing in your default CPT “places” and that’s when the location view started working. Apparently, it only recognizes the default CPT “places”.
This seems to be in line with the problem I have already posted here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/show-all-cpts-in-location-page/This user has run into the same issue:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/custom-post-type-configuration/So, the issue seems to be, that GeoDirectory doesn’t show ALL the existing categories and CPTs in the location view. I only and exclusively shows the first CPT that is available on the site.
The question is then: How do I get the system to include ALL existing CPTs and categories in the location view?
February 14, 2020 at 9:41 am #530287I tried to post a reply, but I can’t see it. When I try to post it again, it says “It seems like you already said that.”
February 14, 2020 at 11:56 am #530320Post recovered.
Did you add columns as a custom field? You can add a field like ‘tracker_id’ and that can be managed as a field with GeoDirectory.
I missed the point of clarification: Did you use the GD importer? If not how did you import the listings.
February 14, 2020 at 12:02 pm #530325Please share WP Admin credentials and a link to the location page so we can check on the issue.
February 19, 2020 at 11:02 am #531164Yes, I used the GD importer. Sorry for being unclear. Also, I meant before, the system seems to drop all the columns it doesn’t recognize.

Add GD Listings blocks for each of the CPTs you want to feature there.
February 21, 2020 at 8:58 am #531537I am not sure, if I understand.
When I open the “Location Page”, there are three blocks for the “GD > Listings” widget: “Initiatives”, “Events”, and “Spaces”. Each shows a list of listings below the listima categories on the location page.
However, the map only shows one listing, the one from the very first CPT “Places”. The three other CPTs “Initiatives”, “Events”, and “Spaces” are not displayed in the map – even through they have a Listings Widget with the according filter setting on the page.
February 22, 2020 at 4:44 am #531692Hello,
On the location page you may want to use a full width page template where you can adjust the map.
The map shortcode must be a directory map, and it will have a post type switcher so you can switch between the different CPTs.
Try a full width template, or contact the theme author for instructions about how to adjust the map template.
February 22, 2020 at 7:55 pm #531734Yes, I know. The “standard” layout allows to switch between post types.
The question is if there is a way to have the map display all post types at once?
