Non-geo CPT categories showing above map

    I have created a new CPT called Topics with categories for listings that have no physical/geographical location.

    These categories are showing above the map on location pages and return a 404 error when clicked because they have a location in the permalink.

    Is there a way to remove these so that only geo related CPT categories are shown on the map?
