Not able to get Social Importer to work with YELP

    Hi I am trying to get Social Imported to work with Yelp, but I am having the following problem.

    [TOKEN_MISSING] An access token must be supplied in order to use this endpoint.

    I added the social importer plug in.
    I created the API key from Yelp.
    I copied the Yelp API key to GeoDirectory->Social Importer->Yelp->API Key
    I tried adding a listing on my geodirectory site and on the “Import Detain from Social” box I entered the URL from yelp where the listing is found in yelp.
    Then I get a pop up box that say “[TOKEN_MISSING] An access token must be supplied in order to use this endpoint.” and nothing gets imported.

    What did I do wrong, can you give me some advice on how to fix this?

    It is working now. I deleted the API key and copied and pasted again and this time it worked.
    But only the Title, City, Phone number and website get imported.
    There is no Description or pictures, email or anything else, is this how this is supposed to work?

    Yes, I followed those instructions. I would be nice if at least the description could be automatically filled in when imported.

    Hello!

    I just tried one on your site, but didn’t see an error, so that’s good.

    I see what you mean, though, that the description doesn’t come in, but, I tried two listings, and I could not see a description on the Yelp site at all for either one.

    However, the fact that it is not imported (whether it exists on the Yelp site or not), is because Yelp has closed down the API for retrieving the description. This is their new V3 API. In V2 they gave a short blurb, and now they don’t share any description at all.

    If enough biz owners write to them, they may change that.
