not display Popular Categories on search results page – possible ?

    i’d like to not display the popular categories on the search results page, i saw how to enable “Show the top section of search page” but i want to display the search boxes but not the popular categories – how can i hide these?

    what i’d really like to display is the categories that the search results are found in, the matching categories

    any ideas?

    oh wait, think i found it:

    Appearance > widgets > GD Search Top Section

    geez

    but any idea on how to display the categories that the search results are found in?

    You can add the category as part of the data shown for each listing.
    In Place Settings > custom fields > Category field, set “show on listing page” to yes.

    But there is no option to show a category list for all search results on the results page.
