I’m running Geodirectories Version 2.0.0.67 on WordPress Version 5.2.4.
I have Askimet, Disable Real Mime Check, GeoDirectory and the Location Manager, Metaslider, Wordfence and WP Easy Updates plugins installed.
I’m trying to take my Places from multiple directory installs and combine them into 1 site. All the directories have GeoDirectories and the Location Manager installed, as well as these other plugins. I’m just combining them into one.

My first import seemed like it went well. I saw all my places in there, but when I went into edit one, I noticed that the category was missing as well as info like phone, email, Facbook etc. All the basics. These ARE in the cvs file. The only thing in each place was the business name and the description. I deleted all the places, emptied the trash and looked at a few more settings before trying it again. This time, it said that they were not imported due to already existing. I thought they were history once I removed them from the trash.
Now I’m trying again and getting this error “4 / 6 item(s) updated.

2 / 6 item(s) could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type/invalid characters used in data.

Row 6 Error: Not enough location info for address.

Row 7 Error: Not enough location info for address.”

When you import from another site you will need to update the category ID.

It may be “Awesome Places” category on site A with ID 78, then “Awesome Places” category on site B with ID 8923.

Are you using OpenStreetMap or Google on your site? Try Google if you haven’t already.

When you delete the listings, yes, they should indeed be gone. What happens when you export the listings?

If we need to check the settings be sure to use a private reply and share WP Admin credentials plugin login URL.

So if site A has the category Dining with ID 10, and site B has the category Dining, but its ID is 20… it won’t import correctly?
That might be a problem. I have a handful of small directories, each one is a separate, standalone install, so the category numbers may be off. If that’s the case, I may just need to re-enter these listings by hand. There’s only a few hundred between the different installs

That’s right, you will need to swap category ID 20 for category ID 10.
