My site is letsgocoupons.com. I am using the latest version of Geodirectory installed on WordPress 4.9.8. using the GeoDirectory Travel Theme. I have the following plugins installed: Classic Editor (activated), GD Booster (not activated), Geodirectory (activated), Advanced Search Filter (activated), Ajax Duplicate Alert (activated), Custom Google Maps (activated), GeoDirectory Dashboard (activated), Franchise Manager (activated), Location Manager (activated), Marker Cluster (activated), Payment Manager (activated), Re-Captcha (activated), Review Rating Manager (activated), Social Importer (activated), Invoicing (activated), Secondary Title (activated), WP Easy Updates (activated).
I have the advanced search filter Enable Location Filter checked, First time load direct is set to Redirect to nearest location. Ask user if they want to be geolocated is unchecked.
I have the Multilocation (location manager) home page set to site root.
The default location is set to San Antonio. I have two locations set up, San Antonio and Austin. There are listings under each location.
On the homepage I have the popular places widget installed with the enable location filter checked.
When I go to the home page on load, I want it to show only listings from the nearest location, not all places. When a user clicks on View All, I would like it to show only the listings from the nearest location, not all locations.
Currently it is not geolocating me at all. When I had the ask user if they would like to be geolocated, it geolocated me to Austin, even though my location is much closer to San Antonio. I unchecked the “ask user” and now it is not geolocating me at all.
I would like to have it set up to automatically geolocate the user to their nearest city without asking and show listings only from the nearest city unless the user changes their location with the location switcher.
Is this possible? If not, my alternate solution would be to load the nearest location page and I would use that instead of my current home page, but I would need the geoloction to locate accurately.
Thank you for your assistance.
