    Is there a way to notify the owner of a listing that they have received a new review?

    Hi Ron,

    Reviews are comments and I’d like you to know that the admin is always notified of new reviews and so is the post author.

    As Kor said, that would be done automatically by WordPress. DId you try to install the email log plugin to see if at least the notification is being logged?

    Yes, I have the plugin installed. I just tested it again and no email was was sent.

    Opps! I didn’t wait long enough. The owner of the listing did receive an email. However, I did not receive a BCC.

    Did you check the spam folder? It’s very strange that the author did receive it and the admin didn’t…

    I believe it depends on the role of the owner of the listing.

    Just now we don’t edit the emails at all or send BCC, but maybe we should only send the notification to admin until its been approved and then notify the listing owner, i’ll talk to Paolo about it.
