Notification of listing in user's local area or in content interest (CPT)

    Hi there,

    All good on account/registration notifications and interactional notifications when other users comment etc, but would like to have notifications of when a listing is added either in a section (CPT) or in a local area (radius).

    The notifications add-on doesn’t seem to allow for that directly but I see you have a bcc capability that could be used in that way – “Here you can choose if you want to be notified of new registrations, Send to Friend, Email enquiry or new listings”.

    Can it be used in that way and if so where can I access this part of notifications please?

    I will ask the developers to take a look at your question in case there is a workaround to achieve that.

    Right now, you can get a notification BCC on registrations with our UsersWP addon. You can set that up in the Admin emails tab

    Hi Nick,

    we have an option to send email to admin and listing author when listing get publish.
    but if you want to send email to all other user on listing publish.
    thats not something we have for now.
    but you can use GD hooks to extend it in that way.

    following is action hook. which get fire when listing get publish.

    
do_action( 'geodir_post_user_publish_post_email', $email_name, $email_vars );
