    Hi Geodirectory Team

I’m not receiving the Email notifications when a user modify a listing

I read the other post at this subject in the forum :
    – Notify Admin when listing edited by Author > yes
    – In SITE BCC OPTIONS everything is > yes
    – Allow user to choose own password > yes
    – I tried with a normal user (no admin)

I receive all the other notifications even for a new listing submitted

I tried to deactivate all my other plugins (except Geodirectory – Buddypress – updraftplus)

And no way to receive the notification for a listing edited by the author

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks

    Clem

    Hi Clem,

Checked with test account, it seems something conflicts there. Let us provide FTP credentials so we can look into more.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hi Clem,

You have applied user capability “delete_users” to user roles like “Free Subscriber”, “Author”. During sending notification to Admin when listing edited by author it checks whether current user is super admin or not via function is_super_admin().
Because of “delete_users” ticked for role “Free Subscriber”, it return is_super_admin() as a true, and it skips sending notification.

I unticked “delete_users” for “Free Subscriber” and now sending notification works fine for “Testemail” user.

    Let us know.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Great Job Kiran 👍

I have no idea why this capability was applied to the free suscribers…

Thanks a lot ! I did some tests and works perfectly now 🙂
