    Hi there,

My site is almost finished, and I’m really pleased with all your features and I would like to take a moment to thank you for support your team has given me so far.

I still have couple of questions left, so to make it more convenient for you, I’m posting them in this one post and not spread across your support pages.

    1. Context: I am on the Dutch version of my website and visit a listing, I then click on ‘business owner?’ (in Dutch ‘bedrijfseigenaar?’). Instead of continuing in Dutch, the site switches back to the English version of the page. I did translate all the texts in WPML > String Translation > geodirclaim. How to solve this?

    2. I read all of your documentation, but I’m still struggling to grasp the concept of the translated urls. Example: the Dutch version of ‘Village Whiskey’. As you can see the breadcrumb is doing what it has to do. The url however, is now partly Dutch and partly English. As you can see in the 2nd picture, the category ‘places’ is translated into ‘plekken’ as it should be. However, the country is not translated. I did upload the new translated .mo en .po files to my servers and I did update the country in Geodirectory > Multilocations > Translate Countries.

Also, I believe it is not possible to translate states and cities, am I correct? And would this be possible using the customization services of the GD experts?

    3. Is is possible to auto activate new users? Currently, when someone registers, they receive an email with an activation link. After they click it, they are still not able to enter the site as I (being the admin) have to activate the account as well in my dashboard. Is it possible to automatically activate accounts once the user clicked the link?

    4. I’m also struggling with the -1; -2 extensions to my slugs. I did read the documentation on: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/why-do-my-locations-get-a-1-at-the-end/ however, I cannot find the original slugs so I must be doing something wrong here. Could you please explain the steps I have to take to solve this?

    5. Situation: When a user upgrades his/her listing, thus fills in the new details in the add listing page BUT they did not pay yet. In this case I discovered that their listing was already upgraded on the back-end, while they hadn’t paid. Is it possible to let me upgrade listings after payment has been confirmed?

    6. In my search results page, the map is zoomed out quite a bit by default (see picture). Possible to zoom in the default map a bit?

    7. I have successfully linked my Stripe account to the WPInvoices application. However, I would like to offer my visitors the payment option of iDEAL (popular in the Netherlands). Stripe has their documentation https://stripe.com/docs/sources/ideal , but it is quite technical to me. Do I need the GD experts to customize and implement this or is it possible to do this manually inside the Invoices application?

Thanks in advance for your time and efforts.

    Kind regards,
    Arwin

Did you translate this in the PO file as well? We can take a look at it; please make a private reply with your site details and we will take a look at the Claim Listing translation issue.

Country can be translated but only into one other language, not multiple: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-countries-and-map-directions/
It is not possible to translate regions and cities, correct.

    3. Is is possible to auto activate new users? Currently, when someone registers, they receive an email with an activation link. After they click it, they are still not able to enter the site as I (being the admin) have to activate the account as well in my dashboard. Perhaps this is BuddyPress? GD does not require activation or send activation emails. Do you mean the claim listing verification?

    4. I’m also struggling with the -1; -2 extensions to my slugs. It is a process to find them and merge them in the DB. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/why-do-my-locations-get-a-1-at-the-end/ and https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/better-search-replace-plugin/

    5. Situation: When a user upgrades his/her listing, thus fills in the new details in the add listing page BUT they did not pay yet. We can take a look at this too. Please confirm we can add a test listing to check it.

    6. In my search results page, the map is zoomed out quite a bit by default (see picture). Possible to zoom in the default map a bit?

Try setting the map widget option for autozoom.

    7. I have successfully linked my Stripe account to the WPInvoices application. However, I would like to offer my visitors the payment option of iDEAL (popular in the Netherlands). There are plans for additional gateways, but we don’t have any timeline at all for iDeal right now, and even an estimate will need to wait until after GDV2 is released.

If listing has duplicate translation then it only claimed from source language.
If listing is created in EN language and duplicated in NL language then it only allowed to claim from EN language. Because wpml duplicated listing not allowed to claim.
