Hi, looking at my site http://schaduw.uwzorgaanbod.nl
You can see when flipping between the Home page and the Noordholland page that the text on the browser tabs is a bit odd. I think this is due to wrong permalinks settings but I’m not sure about that.
Any help would be appreciated. Regards Ronald Brink

    What do you have at
WP admin > Settings > General at Site Title and Tagline?
    That seems to be empty?

What are your WP > settings > permalinks settings? Should be “postname”

What are your GD > permalink settings?

    Hi Guust,
I’ve added WP admin > Settings > General at Site Title which I can live with for the Home page. The other setting do not have any effect. The weird thing is that for example when I choose Noordholland menu-item, the tab is showing Noordholland Archief (Archive in english) I don’t want the word Archief in it.

    Hi,

Permalinks should have nothing to do with that.

By default that title should be:

    <title>CPT name &raquo; Site title</title>

Are you using any SEO plugin to overwrite titles?

    Let us know,

Hi Paolo, The text displayed within the browser’s tabs was indeed caused by settings within the “WordPress SEO” plugin. I was able to adjust these settings.
Thanks for your hint! Problem solved.
    Ronald
