Opening times are off by an hour

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Afternoon,

    I’m in UK so using GMT for my example

    A few listing say they close at 5 PM, it is currently 4:10 PM and the listing is already saying Closed now.

    I’ve also checked the timezone set in Settings > General for WordPress, and it is set as the screenshot shows.

    Please advise.

    Actually, we’ve discovered that since the clocks changed that any new listing created has +1 in the timezone by default, and the subsequent display is out by an hour. Easily overcome by changing it, but guess it’s a small gremlin.

    Hello John,

    Business Hours allows to set timezone offset for each listing and but by default it uses the default location timezone offset.

    If you have an issue then provide us site link and admin credentials in a private reply.

    Thanks for raising that John, maybe I blamed somebody else too early. I’ll keep an eye on it and follow up with credentials if the same applies to our site.

    It’s not a huge problem for us as we create all the listings (apart from reminding people to check the time!), but more of an issue I guess for sites allowing visitors to post.

    That’s made me check if ours is still the same, and it is. Open ‘Add’ and scroll down to opening times and it defaults to +1:00.
