Optimisation of Events at Selected Venues

    Hi,

    Many venues which I have listed in my directory will host many events throughout the year, the most obvious being Theatres.

    I have GD>Linked Posts on the listing page (GD Details) which I’ve set to show the next 4 events coming up at that location and provides a link through to “View All Event In (Venue)”.

    The page it links to is a search page which will show all the upcoming events at that location. How can I add a title and content to that search page so it will hopefully have a better search position for searches for “what’s on at (venue name)? Is there a way to do this within the GD structure? As it stands it will have no chance of ranking well in the search engines.

    Hello,

    that page uses the default page template at this time. I will flag your question for the developers to let us know if there is a workaround.

    Hi Tristan,

    Search page is not indexed by google because of its variable query and variable url structure.

    you will have to develop a custom page template to build something like this.
