    Hi, I am trying to improve the pagespeed insights of my web site always get told to optimize the following image… http://bizykidz.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-assets/images/featured.png

    I already tried EWWW Image Optimizer plug ins which optimizes all images except this one.

    Is there something you’d recommend please?

    Hi Paula,

    I’ve just checked your Website using “PageSpeed” and you can use an image editing software to reduce the image size. Try adobe products or other similar.

    Hi Kor,

    The image in question is the ‘featured’ banner which goes across the top left of each featured post. I don’t think this is something I can optimize as it isn’t in my library? Can you please use an optimized version in the next relese?

    that image is only 4kb and can’t be optimize much more.

    p.s. the plugin you used can only optimize images that are uploaded via wp media manager. Not all images that are already present in your themes and/or plugins.
