On my WordPress website, I changed my permalink to try and improve my SEO
But when I changed my permalinks my “Add your club” page disappeared.

I have gone to settings > permalinks > saved as “post name” and it hasn’t resolved the issue.

On the WordPress page the Permalink: * http://brazilianjiujitsu.ie/add-your-club/ * ‎
and the name of the page is “Add your club”

But on WordPress in the nav bar when I click the page “Add your club” it redirects to this link * http://brazilianjiujitsu.ie/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place *

This is a broken link that states ” Not Found
This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?”

So, according to YouTube I need to connect my WordPress website via Filezilla and update the .htaccess file ? After changing my the.htaccess file it did not resolve the issue.

I contactedmy host Blacknight and they told me Hi Shane,

It looks to be an issue with your coding and WordPress permalinks. I’m afraid it’s not something we can assist with.

I can, however, pass it onto our Web Developers who may be able to assist for a fee. But something like this would not be covered under general support.

anybody have a fix for this PLEASE?

    Hello,

have you tried changing the link in your menu?

Go to WP – Appearance – Menus

Find the right menu and link and update the link to point to your new page name.
