    Hi,

I use a cache and autoptimize to try help my page speed.

All reports show its heavy with java script from geodirectory.

My question is, what’s the next step to improve things as its loading everything in the background on all pages. Even if they don’t have GD on them.

Is this just how wordpress works?

I thought about multisite just to get GD on its own but do I really need to do that just to reduce the requests and load?

My homepage only uses a fraction of the Css loaded but it’s load time is an average of about 4 seconds.

All I use is the GD search bar, I need to reduce my time and the only thing I can see to do is stop css that is not used.

    Any advice?

    Thanks.

    Hi Amy Fox,

Thanks for your reply. Could you provide some screenshots/links of your findings so that I could get a developer to review this?
