Parent theme child theme

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hi,

    I think I keep using the parent theme at the moment without any customisation.

    But it is possible to transfer all settings and data to a child theme later if any circumstance changes?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your post. If you’re using our GDF theme, all theme option settings will be preserved when you switch to the child theme. I’d advise that you insert all your custom CSS into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS and insert all custom JS codes using the “Code Snippet” plugin.
