Password Recovery resets password

    Hello,

    We would prefer that the geodir password recovery would not reset the user’s password and sends the new password through email. The default WordPress does not send passwords in email any longer (for good security reasons), and geodir should follow suit and send a reset password link, instead.

    Is there a way to configure geodir to send a password reset link instead of a new password?

    Hi lynne,

    I’ve just checked with a developer and I’d like you to know that we are going to review this and will consider changing the “Password reset” method. At the meantime, let us know if you need anything else.
