Password Reset

    Is there a way for a subscriber to designate their own password?

    Although the passwords that are generated are very secure, they are not exactly user friendly.

    Is that possible?

    go to GeoDirectory >> General >> Allow user to choose own password set to yes.

    I have that option set properly, but I have tested it and can not select my own password.

    Ok I’m sorry I misunderstood your question, users can only set their password at registration.

    They can’t change it through the forgot password procedure.

    To allow them to change their password when logged in you should use a membership plugin like buddypress, that will also use a different register form.
