PayPal Standard gateway is requiring users to pay with a PayPal account

    For some reason the PayPal gateway requires the user to create a PayPal account before paying. PayPal standard usually allows users to just pay with their debit or credit card. I am looking for ways to solve this dilemma. Refer to screenshots of checkout screens

    Hi,

    paypal standard accept payments from “guests” only for single payments. Not for subscriptions (recurring payments).

    For those you must have an account with a valid credit card on file.
