So my first cancellation of a subscription via PayPal. I had to do it for them since they didn’t know how. But it’s officially cancelled and nothing has changed to the expiration date on the listing. Ideas?

I know I could manually change it but it seems like this is a problem to be fixed?

It is only the renewal that gets cancelled. The already paid for the full current term, so they are entitled to that.
(I am guessing you canceled it at PayPal)

    Thanks

Yes it was canceled in Paypal, AFTER a payment came out. Now it says that it’s overdue, when the payment came in and he should be good through next month. See attached image.

And it only says that after I refresh the page. It starts with saying “undefined”. Then I refresh and it says what it shows on that image. Then it goes back to “undefined” again.

The Paypal payment came out on Jan 6. So I think it should have refreshed to expiring Feb 6? I’ll post login info on a separate post.

The listing is still as “monthly basic” and on 6 Feb should go to “free” as per package settings.
The reason it says overdue, is because you added an expiry date of 3 Jan, see image.

    Thanks

Oh, hm. I don’t remember doing that, but then I totally might have while I was figuring stuff out, I suppose. Wouldn’t surprise me. Is that also why it says undefined?

So I don’t have to do anything? Is my manual expiry not going to mess anything up? Does the Paypal expiry always take precedence?

A subscription means there is no end date until the subscription is canceled.
When using packages you should not use manual expiry unless you want to over-write the package settings.

So should I delete the expiry date that’s currently there? Or just leave it?

Ok, done. But then it reset it to 1/1/20. So I did it again just to see if something went wonky, and now it reset it to 12/31/19.
