Hi. I have changed my GeoDirectory Permalinks to “Add location slug in listing urls”, and “Add region and city slug in listing urls (/region/city/)”

I’ve reset/flushed my WordPress permalinks by resaving them. While the slugs appear correctly in the browser’s navigation bar, the region (e.g. “New Hampshire) is not appearing in the theme’s breadcrumbs on the page, and if I try to go to the Region’s page, that is coming up as a 404 not found.

Any suggestions on how this can be fixed? Thank you.

All your GD pages were deleted, I fixed them at GD > GD Tools > GD pages check

I also changed the permalink to include the country, because your multilocations is set to multicountry.
The /region/city/ permalink only works if you have a directory for your default country only.

    Hi Guust,

Thanks for fixing and explaining. So if I want to remove the country from the permalink, would I be able to do so by doing the following?

    1. Go to “GEO DIRECTORY LOCATION SETTINGS” and select “Enable default country” and check “Hide country part of url for LISTING, CPT and LOCATION pages”?
    2. Resave permalinks and go to GD > GD Tools > GD pages check to fix any pages that may have been broken or deleted when changing the permalink structure.

    Thanks again.

    1. Correct
    2. Go to GD Permalinks and set back to /region/city/ permalink
    3. Only resave WP permalinks if things do not work as expected
