Permisions issue browsing site

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

    If logged in as admin everything is working all pages and all listings.
    However if browsing site all listings etc. when clicked give an error about permisssions.
    of curse I have looked at whoop demo and read in forum but having spent hours still can not get fixed. please help
