    Hello,

We’re having problems uploading more than 11 photos for a listing that allows 30.

Our maximum file upload size is set at 32 MB
    – Total file upload size attempted has not been more than 10MB.

I’m wondering if it could be a process timing out problem instead?
Our max execution time is set at 120. Max parsing time set at 60.

We are operating in the Virgin Islands and the Internet tends to be slower here.

We do not get an error message – but after 2 or 3 minutes, the Preview Listing page loads and no content renders – just the wrap and page header, but no actual preview or preview listing message or submit/pay button. Screenshot attached.

    Will you please troubleshoot?

I am going to provide you with both admin and non admin login details in a private message below.

    Thank you,

    Ashley

    Hi,

If the max execution time is set at 120 and after 2 or 3 minutes the page reloads I would say that 99% the problem is time-out.

10MB for 30 pictures means any pictures is over 300kb. That is not an optimized image at all and if you load such big pictures, your website will definitely load slower.

You should try to keep pictures around or below 100kb. That will reduce page loading time, but also upload time.

Please try to raise that to a higher number like 300.

    Thanks

    Hello.

    Update. Still having problems.

    What I’ve done:
    – Raised max upload time to 300
    – Raised max processing time to 300

Tested to tedious degree uploading photos at 100k or less.

Could never upload more than 12 photos without producing the same error as mentioned above. These are photos that optimized for the web – I am using them successfully in a woocommerce store for another client.

Doing the math…that would be 1.2 MB? Which seems absolutely reasonable.

I used a stopwatch multiple times to see how long it took before going to the preview page with no content — seemed to happen most often around 140 seconds.

Other ideas on what could be going on?

    Thanks,
    Ashley

    hi,

could you please try to create a dummy listings with all the images that you are trying to upload here?

    http://wpgeo.directory/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place

    user: demo
    pass: demo

    Let us know the result.

    Thanks

    Hello.

Okay, I just tried uploading the photos to your demo site and it worked perfectly.

We were under DDOS attack for awhile, so now we’re using this security service called Sucuri and it’s getting in the way of some things.

I wonder if it has something to do with that service.

I will contact their support forum.

If you can think of anything else that could be causing this problem on our end, I’m very open to suggestions.

    Thank You,
    Ashley

    Hi,

I would think it is probably a server setting that is making it time out sooner than it should.

    Thanks
