As a follow up – I just restored my backup from just prior to updating the GeoDirectory Plugin and that fixed all my pictures back to normal. Is there a known bug with the update? The screen shot shows what was happening. Where I enter a “logo” inside GeoDirectory I actually use an icon instead of a logo there and those icons were showing up as my feature pictures. It’s almost like the pictures were loading backwards.

    Hi jenniferlynnarndt,

Thanks for your post. Sorry, we can’t help much if you’ve reverted the changes. Do you think you can replicate it so that we could troubleshoot this further for you?

Well, it was a huge issue for my site so I needed to fix it asap which is why I just restored my last backup. My last backup ran this morning at 9am and then around 10 I did your update. That was literally the only thing I did when I logged in and then I just happened to toggle back to the website and saw the issue right away. It had to be something related to the update because when I restored the prior backup of my website from earlier this morning everything went back to normal. I am worried about updating again for fear of this happening again but I’m going to have to do. I think I can do that in a testing environment but I’ve never tried or had to do that through my hosting platform (Flywheel). Can I open a ticket for this? I’ve never had this type of major problem with your plugin. Please advise and thank you.

To hide title and caption you will need to modify the GD Post Images element to turn off the title and caption.

    Instructions are here:

I am having the same issue. My logo is showing for the featured image on the detail page. On another site I have with the same settings, it works great. Enclosed is a screenshot of what is happening. This is a brand new site that I am putting together, so it is using all the latest updated plugins.

Update: I updated my other site, which was working great, and now that site is doing the same. So it definitely is the update from what I can tell.

    Any idea?

    Thanks!

My problem is not with the title and caption. What is happening is the same as what Dan W. seems to be having. All of my feature images have somehow changed so the “logo” is showing as the featured image. This happens on the main directory page, all sub pages and in any page where I’ve used a geodirectory widget such as a carousel. When I click on a “place” and get to the individual page for that place, again, it’s pulling the logo image first and then the rest of the images follow. It would be nice to know why or where in the settings I’m going to have to address this issue before I hit update again on the plugin and mess-up my entire website. Any ideas??

    Hello,

please try adding show_logo=’0′ to the GD Post Images shortcodes that should not show the logo.

We have a fix for this coming very soon in 20888

    Hallo,
I have the same issue, direct after update all my logos are shown two times on the grid Listing:
    1) insted the main image
    2) on the Logo place as usual
Your suggestion to use “show_logo=’0′” doesn´t work for me.

    [gd_post_images type=’image’ ajax_load=’true’ link_to=’post’ show_logo=’0′]

I can not use my site at all in this mess,
please we need a promt solution

20088 is out now, please update and let us know if the issue still exists. If it does please make sure to create your own topic so we can look into the issue.
