    Hi team,

    I would like to know if the GD + the add-ons are already PHP 7.0 compliant? PHP 7.0 was released couple of months ago. It executes dynamic pages much much faster, which might give an extra kick for the website performance.

    GD is amazing plugin with its capability to serve different data to each visitor based on their location and I am in love with all the things it is REALLY doing. So, I am crossing fingers.

    I will start some tests with out dev site and PHP 7.0 but I wanted to know some info from you too.

    We started doing some PHP7 testing but it is not finished yet, we will be continuing soon, if you spot anything we will be happy to fix it.

    Hi magnaromagr,

    We are running it on php 7 already half a month live and all works just fine.

    All GD add-ons + core are with latest versions.

    Thank you for sharing.

    I’m testing it, I have an issue with login/session lenght: it log me out after less then a minute. php settings are the same of “old” server (except the php version).
    I’ll try to disable plugins and check again

    Hi magnaromagna,

    Here is a screenshot from our PHP7 configuration.

    We do not use any other additional plugin to control the login, just the general GD login page and functionality + social login for facebook.

    Varnish is off.

    Thank you MB for sharing tips.
    Checked with hoster and confirmed I also have these values.

    Maybe the login issue is related to dns propagation. I mean: since I’m with Cloudways (like the demo of WPGeodirectory), if I use the primary domain, I have this login issue. If I use the “local” url (wordpressmu-etc-etc.cloudwaysapps.com) it works fine.
    The only other difference, is that you use Social Login, and I’m using Social Connect

    You should check with CloudWays then.

    By the way are you happy with CloudWays? I tried it but I found DigitalOcean with ServerPilot far easier and user friendly.

    I use Cloudways as well but not sure what you mean about the primary domain issue.

    As for Digital Ocean, I started with them but moved to Cloudways as it was more user friendly for me. Is ServerPilot something new?
