    Hello,

is it possible to link a picture with the respective search results, e.g. picture of destination (Australia) and when clicking on the picture search results only for Australia are displayed?

    Thank you very much!

    Kind regards,
    Kristjan

We have something similar called “Location Description” for V2 that works on the location pages, but, no element like that for the search pages.

If you are starting a new site you should be using V2

    Hi Alex,

thanks for your reply! Actually, I am using V1 – I had installed V2 twice and it “broke” my site, i.e. I had to contact my hosting provider and let the plugin be activated to then delete it and install V1 again. I did this 2 times, if you have any idea what might cause this please let me know.

    Thank you!
    Kristjan

Sorry, would this work with a customization – “Link” –> “Search result”?

Ah, i misunderstood what you were originally asking, I think.

Linking to a location page with a picture is a GREAT way to provide a nav for your site visitors.

Anything, text or images, can be linked, sure.

The link can go to a location page like:
    https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/location/united-states/california/san-francisco/

Or to a search page. Just make a search and use that as a link:
    https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=&set_location_type=3&set_location_val=3&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=

    Hi Alex,

thanks great! That was what I meant. I was not aware of the location-page – really nice as well!

I will open another ticket regarding the Geodirectory V2 topic mentioned above.

    Thanks again,
    Kristjan
