Place category not showing under Category in WP menu

    Hi folks,

    I’ve installed GeoD on a tourism domain I own at http://irishlakelands.com and am playing around with the installation to get more familiar with GeoD.

    I installed 10 Dummy Data Listings all of which were already assigned categories such as Hotels, restaurants etc.

    However, when I go to create a custom menu in WP- Appearance – Menu- Category, these Place categories can not be seen.

    Any suggestions,

    Hi,

    because they are not default wordpress categories, they are custom taxonomies.

    You will need to click the “Screen option” link (top right of the screen) and enable Place Categories (or catgeories from any other CPT like in the image attached ).
