Place in url

    In the url for listings it uses /place – could this be /coffeeshops or something more Google friendly?

    Also, if I change my whole url structure how bad will that affect my google searches? In the long run would it recover?

    Google will take note of your new URLs as it crawls your site, you can always give them a hand in webmaster tools or adding redirects.

    301 redirects are the recommended way to deal with this or google could take a very long time to figure out all new URLs.
