Hi,

I was just testing out some of the tab features on one of our merchant’s listing with my smartphone and noticed that on the map, I’m required to enter my address to get directions.

This is rather counterproductive because if I’m on my phone (which means I’m on the go or in my car) I won’t know what the address is. Is there a way to enable it to automatically detect my location so that I won’t have to enter an address just to get directions to the business?

Please explain.

Sorry, but that is not possible.
I think some users have already requested this so you can vote for that in the feature request section (look for the link in the sidebar of this page ).

Are you serious? This is the year 2016. this is one of the most basic functions you need on a map. There’s no sense in even having a map if you’re not going to provide a way to give directions on a mobile phone that is user-friendly.

Besides, you have 3 requests for this feature and the combined total votes is more than enough to warrant this basic feature addition.

The number of votes is still very low (57) and only one request is asking for this specific thing.

There are much more important things waiting compared to this.
