Hello, how can I fix the sitemap problem with places images?

    Example:

1- You spend 30 minutes collecting your images, cropping them, saving them in jpg and optimizing them for web.

You have 30 images ready for your place. Good.

2- You spend another 45 minutes adding them to your place in GD.
    • Upload them.
    • Click image 1, paste title, tab, paste caption, click set. (repeat this 30 times)
    • Publish.
    • Go to media library, find the featured image just published, click, paste in the alt field the same title.

You have 1 place published with 30 images.

3- Go to see your sitemap (gd_place-sitemap.xml) and discover it says 1 image. The featured one.

You just waste over an hour for publishing 1 place to let google know you just have 1 image, not 30.

    Why?

    How to fix this?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

This is a known bug. The next release of GeoDirectory will contain a fix.

I just updated to 2.0.0.67 and my sitemap still says the same. All images are missing.

    Why? How to fix it?

    Thanks.

Ok. Edit 1 place, hit update and the sitemap is regenerated.

I’ll wait to see search console results.

    Thanks.
