    I was trying to install the GeoDirectory Plugin and got the following error;
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/MALKSEEL/goaholiday.info/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/helper_functions.php on line 846

    I have updated WordPress to the latest version, uninstalled all Plugins except Askismet (not active currently), and activated the ‘Directory Starter’ theme.

    Any clues as to what might be causing this?

    Cheers!

    You can check your PHP version by inquiring with your host. GD is best run on PHP 5.6 and above.

    You can also try installing a fresh copy of GD, in case the files were corrupted somewhere along the way.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks for the quick response, it seems my site is still lying on a relatively old system, hope transferring to a newer server can sort this out.
