Plugin update failed

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hi have tried to update a couple of plugins and they keep failing. I would do a manual update but if I remove the current event plugin it tells me it will delete all the data. I don’t want to lose it.

    So how do I update without loosing my data? The auto update in not working.

    Using GeoDirectory Version 1.5.8
    Using Genesis with their Metro child theme.
