    Hi there,

Yesterday we discovered that the specific text we had created for our site was changed back to the default text. Specifically, It was the “No Listings Found” message. I first altered the .po file using Poedit back in December and it worked perfectly. Yesterday, using a diff tool to compare the .po file I had from December and the one that was up on our server, I saw that there were changes to the latest .po file and that it had reset our version of the “No Listings Found” message back to the default.

    My questions:
    1. Did I alter the correct file? I believe I did, since our message was there in December and it is back in place now.
    2. Are changes the .po and .mo files going to be happening in the future? Is there a place to add my amended files where they won’t be over-written by any changes you need to make? (like in my theme’s folder?)

    Thank you!

    Suzy

    Hi Suzy,

Could you tell us where did you save the translated files? Did you follow the steps from this section of the documentation correctly? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/

    Thanks!

    Hi Deb,

Could you move the translation files to wp-content/languages/plugins/ and see if it works?

    Thanks!
