On an existing site that uses GeoDirectory, we have been trying to set up a role that allows users in that role to edit their own pages (just regular WordPress pages). Unless the user is an admin, when they attempt to go to /wp-admin/post.php?post=5898&action=edit (say) they get redirected to the home page every time.

We deactivated plugins one by one, until it would work properly. It started working when we deactivated GeoDirectory. Then we added back each plugin one by one that we had deactivated, putting GeoDirectory last. The editing process worked properly, until we reactivated Geodirectory. After that, the same problem happened again (user goes to edit their own page that they own, gets redirected to home page, can’t edit).

How can we resolve this problem?

    Hi,

please Go to GeoDirectory >> General and disable the option to restrict wp admin to admins only.

    Thanks
