    Hello,

thank you for changing the „read more“ behavior of text excerpts back V1 by offering gd_post_content on GD Archive Item page. It now links to the Detail page of the listing instead of unveiling the whole text, which is great!

Unfortunately Safari renders a gray gradient and I find it quite distracting. Also I am not really happy with the text being shown as justified (block) instead of left-justified.

Would it be possible to revert to V1 style too, where the excerpt was shortened to a certain amount of characters, which were then followed (and not overlaid) inline by a „read more“ wording or even button?

If not, can I hide the excerpt and just place a „read more“ button?

    Regards,
    Martin

    Hello,

You can also use a GD Post Back to create a custom “Read more” link.
When you adjust the GD Post Content options you can set the read more option to ‘0’ to leave out the link.
