Possible to exclude category?

    Hi,
    Is it possible to exclude a category from the main event listing page but to have just that category appear on a seperate page? I think the second part can be achieved with a shortcode?

    If I have a seperate CPT guess there’s no way to enter several dates on one entry? So would need a couple of entries for same trip?

    We run some day trips/excursions which probably aren’t really ‘events’ but as some run 3 or 4 times in the year I’m guessing several entries with same title under a CPT would not be good?

    Any advice/tips appreciated.
